Cookie Policy

Which cookies we use and how to manage your consent at any time.

Note: The German version of this cookie policy is legally binding. This English translation is provided for convenience.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device. Websites also use the browser's local storage (localStorage). Both mechanisms store information on your device – such as settings or identifiers.

Consent

On your first visit we ask for your consent via a cookie banner. Consent-based cookies and services – in particular analytics and external services – are only set or loaded after you have agreed. The legal basis is § 25 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) GDPR.

Categories used

1. Necessary

Required for the operation of the website and always active. This includes storing your cookie decision in your browser's local storage (key "sd_consent"). This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to statistically evaluate website usage in order to improve it. This sets cookies such as "_ga" and "_ga_*". The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland; data may be transferred to the USA. These cookies are set only after your consent.

3. External services

Where embedded, external Google services – such as Google Maps, Google reCAPTCHA and Google Tag Manager – may use cookies or comparable technologies. These are loaded only after your consent or on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.

4. Marketing

We currently do not use any marketing or advertising cookies.

Managing your choice

In the cookie banner you can choose "Accept all", "Necessary only", or individual categories under "Settings". You can change your decision at any time via in the footer; this resets your stored decision and shows the banner again. You can also manage and delete cookies in your browser settings.
